Vimshottari Dasa Rahasya — The Secrets of Timing**

**Aamantranam — The Invitation**

Tutor: Sir William Lawrence

Language: English

Sessions: 2

TOTAL Duration: 10 hours

Recordings will be available for 2 year

Every student of Jyotisha knows Vimshottari. It is the first dasa we learn, the one every software prints, the one every horoscope carries at the top of the page. Ask anyone the sequence and they will recite it — Ketu seven, Sukra twenty, Surya six.

And yet, when the chart is in front of us and someone asks *when*, the same dasa that everyone knows suddenly goes silent.

That is the gap this webinar is meant to close. Knowing Vimshottari is common. *Applying* Vimshottari is a secret — and it is a secret only because the rules that make it speak were never written in one place. They live scattered across the classics, across the nadi tradition, and across the working practice of astrologers who actually predict.

In this session I will put them together.

**Vishaya Suchi — What Will Be Taught**

**Vimshottari Pragati (Vimshottari Progression)** — my own method of letting the dasa lord travel, so that a mahadasa is no longer one flat block of years but a moving, changing period with its own internal turning points.

**Progressed Vimshottari and the progressed Moon** — the dasa read not from the natal Moon alone but from the Moon that has moved.

**Nakshatra Rahasya (The Secret Use of Nakshatras in Timing)** — Vimshottari is not truly a planetary dasa at all. It is a nakshatra dasa wearing a planet's name, and the moment you read the star behind the lord — its pada, its devata, its tara reckoning from the janma nakshatra, the nakshatra the antara lord actually sits in — the period stops being a label and begins to name the event. This is the portion that is almost never taught: why the same Guru dasa gives a wedding in one chart and a summons in another, and how the nakshatra tells you which, and in which month.

**Gochara Samanvaya (Transit and Vimshottari synergy)** — how transit is read from the dasa lord, not from the Moon alone; which transit fires a dasa and which one merely decorates it. Transit shows the weather, the dasa shows who is standing in the rain.

**Vimshottari in the vargas** — the same dasa read through the divisional charts, so that the period speaks about the specific matter and not about life in general.

**Yoga Phala Kala (When a Yoga Actually Fructifies)** — raja yoga, dhana yoga, viparita raja yoga, the yogakaraka, the nadi yogas. Every chart carries them; most of them never deliver, and the reason is timing. Which dasa releases a yoga and which one keeps it dormant, why a yoga formed by the sixth lord waits for a particular antara, and how a small yoga in the right dasa outperforms a great yoga in the wrong one.

Then the dasa applied matter by matter:

**Vivaha** — dasa and marriage

**Santana** — dasa and progeny

**Vritti** — dasa and profession

**Vidya** — dasa and education

**Dhana** — dasa and financial boom

**Bhumi and Griha** — dasa and land, house, assets

**Vivada and Bandhana** — dasa and litigation, confinement

**Apamrityu** — dasa and accidents, calamity, longevity

**Aagachchhantu — Please Join**

This is not a syllabus class. It is a timing class. You will leave able to look at a running dasa and say what it will bring, and when within it — down to the nakshatra that carries it.
