Over the years, many students have come to Jaimini after long study in Parasara, and nearly all of them have said the same thing to me: nothing behaves as expected. The drishti is different, the lords are doubled, and the dasa seems to move for no reason. Most of them learned Chara Dasa from a few pages in a book and were left holding terms they could not compute.
I do not think the difficulty lies in the rules. It comes from carrying the old frame into the new one. Chara Dasa is complete and coherent once you enter it on its own terms, and that is what this webinar will do.

The instruments come first and the dasa comes after. Chara karaka, Karakamsa, Arudha lagna, argala and rasi drishti are not side topics. They are the tools the dasa works with. You will learn to compute every one of them before we count a single period, so no term will be left hanging.
Every rule is derived. You will not be handed lists to memorise. You will learn why chara rasis see sthira rasis, why the arudha distance is doubled, why a lord in his own rasi gives twelve years and not zero. A rule you understand stays with you, and a rule you memorised is forgotten by the next class.
At the heart of the class is one idea. A graha dasa brings what the graha carries, while a rasi dasa opens a place, and what arrives depends on who is standing there. Once you grasp this, the rest follows.
We will cover teaching that is almost never given in Chara Dasa classes:
Where a cut argala goes. It is not destroyed. It waits for its own antara, and this explains the difficult stretch inside an otherwise good decade.
Chatur drishti, which means reading every dasa rasi from four seats: lagna, Karakamsa, Arudha and the 7th. It will teach you to tell whether a period touches the man himself or only his standing in the world.
