VASTU N PLANTS

Plants and Trees are Natures gifts to Mankind.  Plants have a big role to play in Vaastu.

Plants and Trees are Natures gifts to Mankind.  Plants have a big role to play in Vaastu.
Obviously, trees improve positivity in our homes. When we plant trees in our premises, it multiplies nature heavenly powers into the land and increases harmony. 

Peepal: This again is the most worshipped tree. It is believed Lord Vishnu himself resides in this tree. Offering water to it is a good remedy for may doshas in our charts. This can be planted in west Direction.

Banyan: in the East also is used as remedy for East damaged plots.

Audember: The king of trees is for the South Direction. The steps leading to the throne of king Harishchandra was made of this.

Pine, palm trees, coconut, Ashoka trees, Christmas trees can be planted in the compound in South, Southwest and west areas. In fact, they can be used as great remedies for premises having fault in these areas.

Banana tree is another auspicious tree. Each part of this tree is useful. Planting a banana tree and nurturing it is a good remedy for planet Jupiter.

Neem in Northwest with medicinal properties each part of this is used. Leaves used as insecticides, branches for teeth, insects stay away from

Ashwagandha is a great tree for women who have for gynaec problems

Pomegranate trees in number 5 or 7 to be planted if Southeast is cut or damaged.

Jasmine is also stress releasing and anxiety reliever and gives amazing fragrance at night.

Here are some Plants which are very auspicious and can be used as indoor plants. They serve multiple purpose

Tulsi/Basil:-This is the most revered plant. We here treat it as one deity. This is to be kept in the Northeast or East. Can be kept with Amla plant. Used for absorbing foul air and keeps mosquitoes away. It has many medicinal values.

Lotus flower is so auspicious, grows in dirty water looking upwards and creating beautiful aura and vibes. All deities have it in their hand or are seated on the lotus flower.

Money Plant: This works wonders if kept in blue bottle in North direction for abundance. Money plant is not a creeper is also oxygen rich plant absorbing foul gases and keeping surrounding air clean

Marigold: yellow-colored flowers abundantly used as offerings in temples brings in lots of positivity and repels insects. 

Shwetarc: Ideally milky plants are not to be kept but this white flowered one is a favorite of Lord Ganesh.

Shammi:  Saves from evil eyes can be kept at entrance on the left kills all negative vibes

Lucky bamboo gives name fame and all

Snake plant: absorbs harmful gases around so can be used as indoor plant. Kills all negativity in the homes.

Aloevera is a medicinal plant can be used North n East

Lavender is another plant for peace and tranquility. Its essential oil is used for perfumes, soap, purifiers, and various cosmetic products

One can plant trees according to the color of flowers or fruits in that direction. Example white flowered plants in Northwest.

Plants with broad leaves in North for growth opportunities.

Peace lily: for emotional peace and well being

If for creating social connections keep a small plant in East.

Plants to avoid at home according to Vastu

Bonsai: Bonsai is considered artistic, but according to Vastu the plant is objectionable and brings bad luck. • Dead or rotting plants: If a plant is dead or rotting, remove it from your home. Dead plants are a sign of poor health and negative energy. • Climber / Climber: The vine grows on the walls of buildings and terrain, slowly creeping into small crevices in the walls. Cracks can spread, cause damage, and allow water to seep through the walls. Damaged walls attract negative energy.

• Cotton: Cotton plants are considered inauspicious according to Vaastu Shastra for plants.
